On October 14, 2007 eight vans left Rockford for a week in Biloxi, Mississippi. Two years after Hurricane Katrina parts of Biloxi's coast are still in shambles. We partnered with a group on location, Lutheran Disaster Response. We stayed nights in the Lutheran Camp and days we worked in every way we could to add value to the city of Biloxi. We cut up trees that had been down since the storm. We cleaned parks around the city that were still filled with debris. We were able to get into several families houses and paint, insulate and drywall. In short, we were able to help.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this endevor. Your help enabled us to add value to eveything that we touched from the Camp to the drywall screws and we are very, very grateful!
